The third release from Subsekt has been voted for, and so we now bring you the music of ALXS.
The sound of ALXS is a melange of Techno influences, brought together into a cohesive sound.
There is a thread running through this EP that has roots in the hard techno period of the late 90`s, a sound that really hasn`t been referenced much in recent times.
The beats are tough, crunchy and aggressive and are cloaked in a blanket of hypnotic and frenetic synth work that collides old skool rave flavours with a very purist Techno abstraction.
Running through all of this is a faint glow of the frenetic, psychedelic hypnotism of psytrance.
The overall soundscape adds up to something very physical. A restless energetic rising feeling pushing you forwards onto your toes, and sits in an Area of the Techno landscape that still remains relatively unexplored.
Subsekt is a collective united by a love of genuine underground electronic music.
We are open minded, inclusive, and welcome all those who feel alienated by the gentrification of electronic music.
Our forum is a space free from image, or trend driven, empty materialistic commercial mindsets. Our label is run democratically with all decisions made collectively.
We share knowledge and ideas freely and support and encourage those brave enough to create without compromise, and we have fun whilst doing so.
